Studio Same Same served as architect and project manager for the GESLabs Green Engineering Solutions factory upgrade. The goal was to meet European Good Manufacturing Practice (EUGMP) standards, positioning GESLabs as one of Africa’s first pharmaceutical-grade cannabis API manufacturers. The project required close coordination between engineers, contractors and specialists to integrate complex systems under strict international guidelines. Despite the technical challenges, the facility was completed within one year. The project demonstrates how rigorous management and precise detailing can deliver ambitious outcomes, setting a new benchmark for pharmaceutical infrastructure and compliance within the African cannabis industry.
